The watering can
What you pour in, and where it goes.
A working proposal, growing in the open. Joining Whimsible is free, a stall is free, hosting is free. Contributing is the optional thing, and every bit of it goes to the cooperative, Whimsible Cooperative, into its own account. None of it goes to Magpie. Nothing written here binds anyone.
Money, if you have it
Pay what you can, from the least up. Once, or every month until you say stop. It goes into the cooperative's own till and shows in the ledger as a line with no name on it.
The cooperative's till is not open yet. Nothing can be paid here until it is; the ways below work today.
Not money
Tick what you would put in. It is written against your key, so we know who to call on, and it counts in the ledger as what it is.
Yours
Where it goes
- Money goes into the cooperative's own account, never through Magpie's. The card's cost comes off; the rest is Whimsible's.
- Every payment is a line in the ledger, dated and nameless, the same day.
- What the money is for is written in the papers and decided in the open: the selling platform, shared marketing, finding each other, cover bought once for everyone, and backing for new ideas.
- A stall, testing, a scenario or time counts as a contribution too. Open a stall, test it with us, or knock and say what you would bring.
